What are the heart chambers
At Tvind, there are many different units, each of them with their own purpose. They have their own programme, which is sometimes combined with the other schools. This means that you as DNS students are involved very much in the everyday life of each unit. You help out when it is needed, create a good atmosphere for the ones who are living with you.
Our „heart chambers“ exist because we are together making it possible, that the students are integrated in the life of DNSers, who with their social surplus enrich the lifes of the students.
We are many DNSers , so we can do many different things. We have set aside Tuesday afternoons for these activities, but they can of course also be included all over the week.
Centre Activities every Tuesday
Enjoy your hobby and contribute to the life of our teenagers. This can be baking, playing music, painting or other art, sports or organizing trips with Apollo and Casablanca and many more activities you can think of. Tuesdays should be highlights of the week for our students.
A marvellous Dinner every Tuesday
A very special dinner, beautifully set tables, candle light, flowers, a wonderful dessert etc.
Clubs
Football Club, Chess Club, Yoga Club, you name it.
Optihealth
We will need enthusiasts to change our daily menus and have good and healthy food. Many of the teenagers live on softdrinks. Teach that healthy drinks can taste very good. Make a juice bar etc.
Growing ecological vegetables
We have a vegetable garden, where we grow our own organic vegetables. Kenneth and the villas are mainly taking care of it, but we all need to be involved to do the work. The garden needs a lot of man-power.
Take an active part in the Center afternoons – and mobilize some of the students to join you! You are an active participant, meaning the center was different – because you were there. You mobilize some of the Heart Chamber students to participate, you create a good mood, you make sure everybody feels richer afterwards, you create an atmosphere of togetherness, and you play an active role in carrying out the programme.
