Zsofi from Hungary

Written by Susanne.

Hi, my name is Zsofi, I am 20 years old. I could start with the amazing, unbelievable things what i have been through or have done since I am here, but I think the most important thing what I should mention is, to walk on the way to your dream is always hard, sometimes just too much, you want to freak out and run away. But that is the most beautiful thing, when you are on your way and you fall down, you stand up again, and you are stronger than before. After a while you realize, here is no more barrier on your way, no more limit, you start to feel you are able to manage everything. I am talking about dreams, because my dream is to see the world, travel, to meet different and different people and learn from that. I think there is no other college or university where you can get that much knowledge and world experience as here. For me that is the DNS.

Mette from Denmark

Written by Susanne.

Hello!

My name is Mette and I'm soon turning 22 years! I am Danish yet with an international upbringing and background. The question who am I? is not simple for me to answer. But I will do my best to answering it shortly.

All I know is that I L.O.V.E. sketching, painting, reading and learning. I enjoy watching news, facebooking, dancing when I'm in the right mood, taking long walks, laughing ultra hard and fiddling with my pen or pencil... I'm also a good procrastinator (all depending on the situation I'm in). I'm a quiet person and sometimes I have days where I talk constantly (but these are rare). I like smiling and I think it's one necessary and free of charge day maker! especially when working with people.... etc etc etc.

I think, but I don't know, that I'm this type of person who likes to try a bit of everything.... This is exactly one of the reasons I am at DNS International teacher Training College. It'll allow me to explore all types of horizons. As I think I'm the type of person who cannot sit still... only when I do yoga or some type of relaxation sport. Take for example, at the moment I am taking a bus driver's license... It truly allows me to exceed my borders and take initiative on succeeding our road bus study travel through the northern part of Africa. And this is what I am reaching out for at the moment!

Laura J. from Latvia

She is in love with herself. She likes to talk about herself and things all around her. She never can decide what to wear. One of her best friends is an abstractionist. She may be chaotic and one who cannot formulate thoughts. She understands that it’s not right to do things in the right way, she does mostly everything contrariwise. Objective critic. Still is learning how to answer to questions. Thinking how to make the world a better place. She thinks that a smile is a great gift that you can give to others, so she is smiling a lot.
A sneak peek in an endless story.
Shine on ,

when you feel the fresh air
when you open your eye
when everybody start thinking
that will be the world where I would like to live

I am curious about everybody’s stories, lives, cities etc..
Everything is interesting for me...

I’m 20 year old, that’s say something about me. When I was in school I wanted something more. I wanted to live a real life, but I didn’t know what is was. If I’m an adult I would have to find a job..

But now I am in DNS and I learn everything about the life, we live together, eat together and make good food from almost nothing..:)

Daniela from Romania

Written by Susanne.

I am Daniela, I am from Romania and for the most part of my life I just done what most of us are advised to do in the societies we live in: get a diploma, get a good job and built a career. Funny thing is that after I accomplished that, I stopped for a minute and started to wonder…and I got a completely new perspective on things.
So, now I am here, in Tvind, living in a totally different way than before, doing things I never expected I will do and mostly, replacing everything I thought it matters with a different perspective on life and people…
I am passionate about all that is exotic, warm, mysterious and colourful. I love Orient, India fascinates me with all its beauty and misery coexisting together and DNS is for me like an open door to what I love the most…

Zane from Latvia

ZaneI was looking for, education, traveling, new people, new cultures, new, experiences. Now I am working at Tvind School centre - part time Promotion (to find my new team mates) and part time care home...

Hello my name is Zane (19) and I come from Latvia.

I finished my high school and after that I wanted to do something useful with my life, something that would help others. I did not think a lot when I saw the program of this school it had everything I was looking for, education, traveling, new people, new cultures, new, experiences. The ideas of this school is what I like the most; that only by teaching others, we can make the world a better place. I realized that this will not be easy but it will be fun and in the end I will have an experience that others could only dream abut. This school is a wonderful chance to find out something new not only about the world but also about myself. I belive that I can make the world a better place and if you do too, then I think DNS school is the place where you should be too

Marina from Portugal

Written by Susanne.

MarinaOlá! My name is Marina, i'm 22 years old and i'm portuguese. I studied sociology for three years, and it made me "open my eyes" to the world. A world that is based on injustice and inequality.
So, i decided I wanted to learn to help, learn to teach... and then i found the DNS. DNS gives us these tools! But not only, DNS is much more than that. Tvind is a space filled with good people, both as teachers and students.
And this is very important for someone to feel good. Here, it's very easy to have ideas to work and learn.
This is a school with history, and everything is perfectly organized. Simply from being in Tvind, I am already learning many things, just because here, there are many different people from different countries with different histories and experiences.
In addition, it gives us the opportunity to travel and see other world realities.
"Let the world be your classroom and other people, your teachers."
